1994

1994 saw Bath captained by former Newport player Jon Callard add the Snelling Sevens title to the Middlesex Sevens they had won in May. They had too much pace for Cardiff who were in their 15th final and won easily 42-5. Audley Lumsden won the Everson Award but was closely followed by Irish wing Simon Geoghegan.

5000 people saw Bath win through to the final by beating Pontypridd, Cross Keys (who had put out holders S W Police) and Bridgend. Cardiff got to the final by beating Bristol, Newport 42-7 in the Q/F and Treorchy in the S/F.
